My name is Gloria Petterson and I just wanted to let everyone know about my EFT "Tapping Experience" with Eddie Ederra. While we were talking he mentioned his EFT experience for himself. He asked if I had any aches or pains that were bothering me at that moment or that if I had any sort of chronic discomfort. I expressed I have always had a lower back pain
Welcome to The Inner Mind where Hypnosis and Energy Therapies are the main topics
WHAT IS HYPNOSIS?
Q. WHAT IS HYPNOSIS?
A. In short, hypnosis is a relaxation process designed to assist you in achieving positive change. It is an effective way of improving your mental or physical health.
Aside from the misconceptions about hypnosis created by stage hypnosis shows, the best way to view hypnosis is as a state of intense relaxation and concentration, in which the mind becomes remote and detached from everyday cares and concerns. In this relaxed state, the subconscious part of the mind is best able to respond creatively to suggestion and imagery. It can focus on the things you wish to change and the ways to best do so, free from analytical or anxious thoughts.
You are, however, not asleep nor are you unconscious. You are in an altered or alternative state of consciousness in which you ‘‘let things happen’’ through your subconscious mind, rather than trying to make them happen with your conscious and critical mind. Because you are deeply relaxed, the suggestions given to you by your Master Hypnotist will be acted upon more easily by the subconscious. Posthypnotic suggestions are those that will be carried out by you when you come out of the hypnotic state.
Q. IS HYPNOSIS SAFE?
A. YES! People experience hypnosis everyday. Hypnosis in the waking state is experienced when day dreaming while driving a car OR not seeing your car keys when they are sitting in front of you on a table. Also, a hypnotist is not capable of making you do anything that is unacceptable, immoral, or irreversible, and you are free to leave the trance state at anytime.
Q. HOW DOES HYPNOSIS WORK?
A. Hypnosis produces a temporary condition of attuned attention, during which positive suggestions can be accepted by your subconscious mind. Ideally, the positive suggestions will replace the negative suggestions which are keeping you from reaching goals of self-improvement.
Q. CAN HYPNOSIS WORK FOR ME?
A. Hypnosis will only work if you believe it will work for you. Like any other process, you must actively participate in the process to achieve results.
Q. WHAT IS A TYPICAL HYPNOSIS SESSION LIKE?
A. Each session lasts about one hour, with the first session lasting approximately 1½-2 hours. The number of sessions required to reach your desired goals will vary, but after 3-5 sessions with your participation in reinforcement exercises, you will see positive changes in your behavior. Many times, benefits are recognized even quicker, but reinforcement is the key to success. As always, follow-up visits and phone calls with your Master Hypnotist will always be available.

Disclaimer; Although I have made every effort not to use material without giving credit, it is quite difficult to not do so accidentally, mainly because all modalities in the end use a finite number of resources, and most systems rely on ancient principles - such that duplication is inevitable........Eddie
